About My Clients
Whether you are navigating depression and/or anxiety, suffering from grief and loss, striving to avoid burnout at work or school, concerned about the climate crisis, exploring your identity, or are wanting to establish new boundaries/routines – my role is to support your journey so you can live with more authenticity as your full self – in both heart and mind. I currently work with individual adults (18 & up).
My Background and Approach
Therapy is not an easy or simple process for anyone…yet it can be one of the most meaningful gifts we can offer to ourselves. I am glad you are here. Perhaps you have tried counseling before, or maybe this is your first time seeking out a therapist. Either way, I’m cheering on that all-important first step you have taken by exploring this website. In my practice, I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (talk therapy) and humanistic approaches (strengths-based, person-first perspectives) with options for mindfulness practices (like meditation) and creative expression (such as journaling or narrative therapy). You will set the terms for what success could look like in your work with me. I will support you to identify and progress toward goals that foster mental well-being. Using a collaborative approach, my intention is to center compassion, resilience, and deep-thinking during our time together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
You deserve a mindful and compassionate therapist who prioritizes your goals and cultivates an environment that is welcoming, with plenty of space for curiosity, complex feelings, and opportunities to try out new or different ways of thinking. By using a gentle, trauma-informed approach, my goal is for you to find greater alignment and engagement with your personal values and practices. My practice is LGBGT+ affirming, inclusive and welcoming to all. Currently, I am a Vermont Rostered Psychotherapist & Clinical Mental Health Intern with the Counseling Offices at 14B Stebbins, completing my MA in Counseling from Vermont State University (graduating May 2025). Outside of my practice, I work in the nonprofit sector, write, play music & games, and am a suicide prevention volunteer.
