About My Clients
I work with autistic and ADHD clients to improve executive function, sensory processing, habit and routine management, activity adaptation, environmental modification, functional cognition, chronic condition management, and community reintegration.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Feldman received her bachelor’s in communication from Northwestern, and her master’s and clinical doctorate from University of Southern California. During her master’s she gained clinical expertise in trauma-informed care for children and adolescents with severe behavioral issues, early childhood trauma, and a wide range of mental health diagnoses and co-morbidities at Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services. Dr. Feldman went on to complete her residency in advanced clinical practice and clinical research at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she specialized in the application of individualized self-management skills training and health behavior change interventions to manage chronic conditions, including side effects of cancer and cancer treatment, as well as obesity and weight-management. Here, Dr. Feldman led a pilot-study to demonstrate the efficacy of a personalized self-management approach in improving function and quality of life in individuals with chronic conditions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Everyone deserves to live their lives to the fullest. As an occupational therapist, I believe that each person has their own unique background, story, experience, personal strengths and challenges, values, and interests that are important to understand and take into consideration when providing holistic, person-centered care. As cliche as it sounds, life is short and I want to equip others with the skills to participate in their lives to their fullest potential and appreciate any wins along the way.
