About My Clients

Does anger or anxiety take over, leading to behaving in ways that you later regret or avoiding things that are important to you? I work with clients who are motivated to learn new ways to relate to painful thoughts and feelings so that you can be the person you want to be and work toward important goals in your life.

My Background and Approach

Whether you've been struggling with anxiety, anger, addictions or postpartum anxiety, I can help. In addition to providing a safe space where you will feel heard and understood, I teach evidence-based techniques to help you feel better. You will leave with a new way of relating to painful and uncomfortable thoughts and feelings so that they don't interfere with living the life that you want. Through mindfulness tools, you will learn how to catch yourself before your emotions take over. From there, identifying your values and how you want to live your life will guide your actions. Healthy communication tools and relaxation techniques will be incorporated, as well.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) have taught me that we can live a life that feels good to us even when our minds tell us otherwise. Anxiety and anger are ways that our minds try to protect us, but we don't have to get caught up in them and let them take over. We can learn to create some distance from them so that they don't have to interfere with living our lives in ways that feel meaningful to us. In my private practice in Philadelphia over the past 10 years, I have seen countless number of people achieve their goals to be better partners, parents, family members, friends, coworkers, bosses, and community members. If you're reading to take the next step to have better relationships and enjoy your life more, call me at 267-277-3554 for your free 15-minute phone consultation. I look forward to hearing from you.
