About My Clients

Whether you are struggling with depression and anxiety, holding grief, questioning your sexual or gender identity, or navigating the world as a neurodivergent human, I am here to walk alongside you in support of your personal growth and healing. I believe that you are the expert of your own experience; it's my job to hold up a mirror so that you can see yourself, your life, and your inner wisdom more clearly.

My Background and Approach

My goal in therapy is to create a brave space for you to express yourself authentically and vulnerably, and for you to feel seen and heard. I'll support you in bringing mindful somatic awareness to the places in your body where sensations arise, which is an effective strategy for feeling and moving through emotions and memories. With my training in expressive arts therapy, I love to help people dive into the power of creative expression for healing and growth, whether through visual art, poetry, music, voice work, movement, and more. You and I can work collaboratively to explore a variety of strategies for expressing, regulating, and processing your emotions.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My personal identities impact how I move through the world: I am queer, nonbinary, white, and neurodivergent, to name a few. As a politicized healer, my work is rooted in both individual and collective liberation from systems of oppression. I believe that we are ALL impacted by these systems in unique ways. I also believe that many of the things that are deemed "mental illnesses" in our society (e.g. depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief, etc.) are actually completely reasonable responses to the systematic destruction of our people and planet. So if you're tired of feeling the crushing weight of capitalism, know that you are not alone. It won't be easy, but together, we can create a more beautiful world by learning how to take better care of ourselves, which in turn helps us care for our families (chosen and otherwise), our communities, and our planet.
