My ideal clients are pregnant and postpartum individuals navigating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders or the transition into motherhood. I also work with young adults facing life changes that bring stress or anxiety. My approach includes stress-reduction techniques with a focus on the mind-body connection, helping clients find balance and build resilience during these pivotal moments.
My Background and Approach
I became a therapist because of my care for mental health and belief in the power of listening during someone's vulnerable moments, free from judgment. Therapy is a safe, sacred space for clients to explore thoughts and emotions. The most powerful change comes from within, and I focus on building upon each client’s strengths. Life's challenges can make us feel overwhelmed, but I believe everyone has the strength and resilience to overcome them. My role is to help clients recognize their inner power and provide tools to improve mental health. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am deeply committed to helping families connect with mental health resources and ensure they have access to the support they need. I actively engage in parenting programs that focus on fostering the well-being and growth of the next generation. Additionally, I advocate for mental health through movement therapies, including dance and yoga. I believe in the transformative power of movement to improve emotional and mental well-being, using these practices to encourage self-expression, promote healing, and support overall mental health.
