Anxiety has snuck up on you, and you're not quite sure how. In your day-to-day you've realized that you're overwhelmed, feeling nervous, second-guessing yourself, and simply wanting to feel confident and self-assured. You're here because you want to feel happier and enjoy your life again, and together we can get you there. I'll work with you to ease sources of anxious thoughts and feelings, heal problematic ways of regarding yourself, and discover what makes you excited about life.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic style takes a depth and humanistic approach. This means that we will explore recurring themes in your life, patterns of relationships you've had, influences outside of your awareness, and feelings that have been buried. Together we will work to understand and define the root of the problems in your life. We will establish goals for our work together that reflect your unique needs, keeping in mind how you want to heal and grow as a person.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The idea of talking about yourself with a stranger is intimidating to say the least (I get it, I've been there)! The time I invested in my own therapy was essential in improving my sense of self, and dramatically decreasing my own anxiety, so I am very much aware of what it takes to go through therapy. Supporting others as they heal and grow is what I am truly passionate about. I'm here to navigate the problematic areas of your life with you, encourage you to get back in touch with who you are, and uplift you in rekindling the vibrancy you feel has been dimmed. You deserve to feel like you again, and together we can do just that.
