About My Clients
I have 10 years of experience in providing social work individual and group psychotherapy and case management across settings such as IOP, acute psychiatric inpatient, community-based organizations, schools, healthcare, nonprofits, and private practice. I help clients navigate difficult situations and stressors that interfere with their mood, relationships, and motivation. I have worked with clients ages 6 years old and up that struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, and more.
My Background and Approach
My goal is to collaborate with clients by establishing their goals of therapy and exploring interventions that best meet their needs to diverse challenges so that they can lead a less stressed and a more fulfilling life. During sessions I will use a variety techniques through Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Trauma informed CBT to get clients closer to their goal.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy in the form of individual or group is about learning to how to prioritize oneselve's mental health by better understanding triggers, symptoms, and strategies to coping and lead a desirable life. Treatment is the opportunity to learn about oneself, reflect and process through difficult experiences, and continue the journey of self-empowerment.
