About My Clients
My hope is to walk alongside clients as they make the step to create a healthier self and healthier relationships. My therapy is relaxed and goal centered. I use humor when it allows, as laughter is good for the soul. The opportunity to serve my clients is meaningful to me and my hope is to create a safe and sacred environment for people to process and heal. I want you to have conversations you aren’t having at home, in a safe and comfortable environment.
My Background and Approach
I began my career in the mental health field working as an intern in community outreach settings, providing support for clients with eating disorders and serving at foster care placement agencies. My early experiences as a therapist included working in agency settings where I provided individual, couple, and family therapy to a diverse clientele covering a wide range of clinical issues. Special clinical interests include, identity formation, life transitions, attachment wounds, self-esteem and worth, eating disorders, body image, trauma (EMDR trained), anxiety, marital and pre-marital therapy. I practice an integrated approach to therapy that includes experiential techniques, cognitive-behavioral, EMDR, and attachment based interventions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It’s an honor to take part in such a difficult, yet beautiful process. I would be honored to sit with you, provide hope, and support. I hope to give clients a space of comfortability as they unpack difficult thoughts and emotions.
