About My Clients
I work with adults and couples facing challenges like anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, OCD, and relationship issues. My clients seek to understand themselves better and challenge thoughts that hinder their goals. As a queer therapist, I enjoy supporting the LGBTQ+ community and creating a safe space for exploration and growth.
My Background and Approach
In therapy with me, you can expect a warm, supportive environment that encourages deep self-reflection. My goal is to help you identify patterns that may be holding you back from achieving your goals or that feel self-destructive. We will explore the impact of your early relationships and experiences, uncovering the adaptations you’ve made to navigate past challenges—adaptations that may no longer serve you. This exploration fosters greater compassion and insight, empowering you to make intentional choices and break free from unhelpful patterns. My role is to support you in embracing the changes necessary to align with your true self and achieve your goals, paving the way for a more fulfilling life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a queer woman, I am passionate about supporting individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community. I am committed to anti-racism and cultural humility in my practice, recognizing how systems of power intersect to shape each person’s unique lived experiences. Outside of therapy, I maintain a dedicated yoga practice and run regular figure drawing events in the city geared towards building queer community. This informs my holistic approach to therapy, and my belief that healing involves not only the mind but also the body and the connections we share with others.
