About My Clients
My clients are adult women & men who may also identify as individuals, partners, family members, patients, survivors, caregivers, medical professionals & first responders. Clients come to me for help coping with feelings of overwhelm, uncertainty, anxiety, depression, burnout and other emotional & practical concerns that arise with life circumstances, trauma, illness, grief, loss, & Covid-19 concerns. My practice is inclusive of all individuals and values diversity, equity & inclusion.
My Background and Approach
Life circumstances are always changing and can create feelings of overwhelm, fear, grief, loneliness, sadness, uncertainty, burnout, or feeling "off." Illness or sudden loss can also create these feelings. Previous ways of coping may not longer work. I can help. I work with you to help you gain clarity and understanding, cope better, regain a sense of control, and find a path forward. How this is done looks different for each client. As individuals we are different from each other. Past struggles, successes, choices, & strengths are part of who we are today, impacting our distinct experiences of & coping with today's challenges. My approach to therapy is highly individualized and it works. Beyond getting to know you, I strive to "get" you. Through this lens and at a pace that's right for you, we work together to strategize a plan to prioritize and address your concerns. I help you improve coping, regain a sense of control & find a path forward. We'll even smile along the way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I firmly believe we are all unique individuals, with our own histories, experiences, and backgrounds that shape us into who we are today. There are no universal right and wrong feelings or experiences; rather feelings & experiences are as individual as we each are. Likewise, there is no one sized fits all approach to therapy. I believe quality therapy should be accessible to all individuals. I believe all individuals deserve to be safe and not judged without hiding parts of themselves they do not wish to hide. I believe all individuals are deserving of respect and dignity. I believe in the resilience and courage of humans. I believe that at our core, we are more the same than we are different before circumstances change our experiences. I believe in the power of a trusted and safe therapeutic relationship to help restore hope and healing. I invite you to reach out today. We can get to know each other and you can ask me questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you!
