I draw from mindful self-compassion, cognitive-behavioral, and somatic approaches. What that means is we will explore your thoughts, your stories, and how you experience these things in your nervous system and body.
As a therapist, you can count on me as a source of support and validation, to ask you questions, to offer alternative perspectives, and challenge you when needed. I look at concerns through a trauma-informed, feminist, and systems lens, meaning I will acknowledge the systems of oppression and power that intersect with your experience.
Therapy is hard work. But it is not only about exploring your struggles and pain, it's also about uncovering your strengths, celebrating the wins, and learning to laugh a little in the process.
