You're taking the first step towards learning how to manage those negative emotions. Guess what!? We all experience distressing emotions and thoughts. Those thoughts trigger behaviors that can affect our relationship with ourselves and with others. Learning how to manage them and not suppress them is the journey we can take together.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst committed to working with individuals and families. I have experience in treating children and adolescents affected by anxiety, autism, depression, and trauma. I obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University Fullerton, and her master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brandman University in Irvine, CA.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe a strong therapeutic relationship can be used as a catalyst for change. Through the therapeutic relationship, I will hold clients accountable for the changes they seek, while also incorporating authenticity, warmth, and humor into our work to create a space where clients feel safe and comfortable.
