My Background and Approach
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #128843) and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #10559) working under the supervision of Dr. Pamela Reeves (LMFT #51463). I earned a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In addition, I have a Master’s degree in TESOL and a PhD in Cultural Studies. I also speak both Russian and English fluently.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that my role as a therapist is to facilitate positive change by working alongside my clients in a non-judgmental and supportive way. I practice various types of therapy, including CBT, DBT, humanistic, integrative, multicultural, existential and intergenerational family approaches. I have been working with an ethnically and culturally diverse population from all age groups, offering individual, couples, and family therapy.
