About My Clients
Anxiety is relentless. It keeps you up at night, distracts you from the life in front of you, and robs you of your confidence. But that doesn't have to be the case. If you find yourself doubting yourself, worrying about what other people think of you, or obsessing over a decision, I get it. You don't want to be anxious, but you don't know how to stop it. You've probably found things that help temporarily - but you're ready for more than coping skills, you want real change. I'd love to help.
My Background and Approach
I help clients overcome their anxiety, not just cope with it. I love helping clients let go of the "shoulds" and "what ifs" and instead tune into what they really want and who they are. With me you'll learn more than deep breathing and relaxation, you'll get an entirely new way to tackle anxiety.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a social worker by training and a strong supporter of social justice, advocacy, and anti-racism. I believe in working with clients individually, but also looking at the systems and groups they are a part of and they may be affecting you, and what we can do about that. I am LGBTQ affirming, and believe in health at every size.
