About My Clients
I work with college students, young professionals, and adults of all ages who are navigating life’s many transitions. My clients often come to therapy seeking support with anxiety, stress, depression, identity exploration, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Many are processing cultural or generational shifts, adjusting to a new environment, or learning how to manage chronic pain, illness, or neurodivergence.
My Background and Approach
The tools I’ll offer you are ones I’ve developed and refined over the years working with people navigating anxiety, depression, stress, and major life transitions. My goal is for you to walk away with a handful of techniques—grounding, reflective, and practical—that you can access anytime, anywhere. Together, we’ll focus on what’s happening in the here and now, especially when anxiety or overwhelm hits. I’ll help you learn how to calm your body, quiet racing thoughts, and understand what’s happening internally—from your nervous system to your inner dialogue—so you can respond with more choice and less fear. My approach is collaborative, active, and rooted in compassion. I bring in tools from psychodynamic and emotion-focused therapy, as well as self-compassion, CBT, and DBT skills. We'll explore patterns, build insight, and strengthen your inner resilience—so that over time, you not only manage distress, but feel more confident and grounded in your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing happens in relationship—with ourselves, with others, and within spaces where we feel seen and heard. I value authenticity, humility, and continuous learning, and I approach therapy with curiosity and care. With a multicultural perspective, I’m committed to creating inclusive, respectful spaces where people of all backgrounds feel supported and empowered to grow. Outside of my work, I find joy in sharing meals, moving mindfully, spending time with loved ones, and exploring creativity. I also love traveling and discovering new places, cultures, and languages—these experiences continue to deepen my understanding of people and the many ways we find meaning and connection in our lives.
