Therapeutic modalities that I use include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Somatic Attachment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)-informed skills coaching, mindfulness, and supportive talk therapy. I utilize a somatic approach, often referencing the body and the nervous system in my work with clients.
I received my Master’s degree from the University of Washington School of Social Work in 2019, and have been working in the field of social services since 2011. I have three years of experience providing individual and group psychotherapy in a community behavioral health setting. I have served as a support person for survivors of sexualized violence, a legal intake counselor at the ACLU of Washington, and a case manager and medical advocate for a retirement community.
