Hi there, I'm Allyson! I am a warm, caring, and non-judgmental therapist. I have helped and enjoy working with folks dealing with anxiety, late dx ADHD, periods of life transitions, who are creatives, those experiencing an imbalance in mental load/emotional labor, and anyone who feels "stuck". We will have open communication throughout your process, setting goals along the way and periodically reviewing them to make sure they continue to align with your needs.
My Background and Approach
As a clinician I come from a person-centered approach, meaning I treat everyone as an individual and believe you are your own expert. My goal is to help you move forward in exploring who you are/what you actually want. What hasn’t been working in your life? What old patterns feel hard to let go of? Who/what do you need to learn new boundaries with? We will set goals along the way and I will help you work to build new skills. We will focus on your personal strengths and growth, as well as challenge behaviors and anything else that may no longer be working for you.
