About My Clients

The journey to parenthood is a road of ups and downs. Are you pregnant or postpartum and feeling stressed and overwhelmed with this transition? Maybe you experienced loss with has you nervous for the future. Maybe things didn't go as expected during birth and things don't feel right now. Reproductive choices are lifelong and encompass many different possibilities, yet can be shrouded with shame and guilt, leading one to withdraw and isolate. Asking for help is hard; I'm glad you are here.

My Background and Approach

I offer a nonjudgmental space to process the transitions that come along with reproductive choices. I specialize in perinatal and postpartum issues, birth trauma, loss & miscarriage, parenting, women's issues, depression, and anxiety. I founded Inclusive Reproductive Healing to be inclusive of all stages of one's reproductive journey, from menstruation to menopause. Furthermore, "inclusive" means to affirm all sexual, gender, and racial identities. I will support you in your journey to feel like yourself again and to build confidence in your choices. I utilize therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and a variety of other evidence-based models to support you in feeling like yourself again and gaining confidence in your reproductive or parenting choices.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe all individuals have the right to be empowered in their sexual and reproductive health. Our sexual and reproductive choices often come with transitions and mental health challenges. Often we feel shame around these thoughts and feelings that accompany our transitions. My hope is to provide a nonjudgemental space in which one can feel confident they are making the best choice for their own needs and goals. I hope to bring forward open conversations about mental health care and the connection to our sexual and reproductive health. Furthermore, I belief it is crucial to acknowledge how race, class, gender, and sexual orientation further play a role in our sexual and reproductive health. My hope is to de-stigmatize the very normal feelings that come along with reproductive choices.
