About My Clients
The folks I serve typically range from adolescence and upward into adulthood. I've found a special appreciation working alongside folks in the LGBTQIA+ community, folks struggling with overcoming addiction and eating disorders....as well as folks who are learning to navigate life by overcoming past trauma.
My Background and Approach
I have experience treating a wide range of challenges that clients might come in with. As a result, I love to be able to meet a client right where they are as we develop a person centered approach that fits them accordingly. I am trained in CBT, DBT and EMDR, as well as approaches that are both 12 step and non-12 step centric. Feel free to reach out, and I'd be happy to discuss an approach that fits you best! Whatever you might be finding difficult right now, just know that seeking support for yourself is something you've already begun just by being here right now. I'm eager to share with you some tools and techniques that will help!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that no one needs to be alone in the challenges they might be facing right now. I am a person in long term recovery, and have both personal and professional experience that we can utilize together to assist you with navigating any hardship you might be working through. I don't discriminate against anyone, and pride myself in creating a safe and inclusive environment for you or your loved one. I am an animal lover and proud dog parent, and a person who also participates in therapy themselves. I believe that we can be ever evolving, forever growing individuals, and I'd be happy to share techniques with you that will help you to become this too.
