It feels imperative for my practice to hold space for members of this community using an insight-oriented and depth apporach. Identity, family dynamics, cultural and politics contexts and social constructs are all considered in a holistic frame of mind, while tailoring the treatment to the needs of the individual.

I have been effectively treating folks navigating anxiety, using mindfulness and meaning making techniques to alleviate suffering through increased self-understanding. From there, you can begin creating a framework to identify and reframe how you'd like to move forward with your life.

My practice focuses on effectively treating depression using an evidence-based analytic and creative approach. I clinically cultivate and bolster an understanding of your suffering by exploring and developing healthy coping techniques, and potentiating a pathway to become the person you desire to be. I have additional immersive training in Art Therapy, CBT for depression, suicide risk evaluation for children and adults, OCD, and the treatment of disordered eating.

I have specialized training in art therapy - having used this modality with adults, teenagers, and children.

I have four years of focused training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy through the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis. In fall 2021, I was selected to train with the Palo Alto Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training Program (PAPPTP) Two-Year Program at the Stanford University Psychiatry Building. In this certificate program, I underwent two years of weekly consultations with psychoanalysts, Drs. Schneider and Birkhofer. I completed training with the PAPPTP- Fellowship Year in 2024.

My background concentrated on integrating a trauma-informed lens that is sensitve to the person, and their support network.

Eco-psychology is an advantageous guiding source for healing and health, as it can be applied outside the four walls and beyond the couch. The interplay of psyche and nature in a healing context can exist anywhere. As we unveil beyond the periphery of our awareness, examining self and nature, we perhaps do shape a deeper sense a being and purpose even.
