About My Clients
Have you experienced the death of a loved one? Are you "numb", "in a fog", struggling to adjust to this new reality? I know this lived experienced. Grief can be isolating, complicated and heartbreaking navigating losing a loved one. Therapy space can help support you in understanding the spectrum of grief, secondary/non-death losses, and working together to create tools to practice self-compassion as you transition into a new normal. It's my honor to hold space as you grow through this season.
My Background and Approach
Grief has been part of my own story since 2009 and grief therapy has been my passion and practice since 2012. As therapy is not a one-size-fits all approach, many therapeutic modalities are integrated into the therapy space to meet your unique needs and support your story. You're the expert on you. You know your story and therapy is us working together, collaborating to best support you through this journey, this season of loss, to growing into who you'll be in this new normal. We will discuss tasks of mourning, go through the power of ritual and honoring your own pace. We will talk about going to the depths of our grief work and what it's like to come up for air, learning how to oscillate between grief work and restorative work. We will address how grief looks different in a family system and also explore non-death related losses. This will be a space for you to feel seen, heard and known.
