My Background and Approach
My approach often combines Western and Eastern Psychology to integrate Mind, Body, and Spirit which will deepen the relationship you have with yourself. I have specialized training in Brainspotting, a technique that is helpful in healing emotional trauma, anxiety, mental blocks, physical pain, and can be supportive in creativity or sports performance. After completing my graduate work at the University of Southern California in 2001, I have attained almost 20 years of successful experience as a psychotherapist, specializing in Holistic, Solutions-Focused, Insight Oriented, Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. As a licensed practitioner in California, I can work with residents that live anywhere in the state of California.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a bilingual (fluent in Spanish) and first generation Latina with a social work background and an ally against racism and social injustice. I am an advocate of human rights as well as an advocate for a more compassionate world for all beings.
