About My Clients
I see clients aged 13 and up. I can help my clients process current/past traumas or encourage them to achieve their dreams and goals. We can work through the multitude of stigmas and stereotypes that society tells us to conform to. Or if you just need someone to listen to you, I can do that too. Therapy doesn't look the same for everyone and that's okay.
My Background and Approach
I have several years of experience working with Department of Social Services, Department of Corrections, and I have also been a preschool teacher. For me, developing a solid therapeutic alliance with my clients is crucial. To accomplish this, I provide my clients with a safe, confidential place to explore their feelings. I try to incorporate self-care with each of my clients, and I believe it is influential in healing and strengthening.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m a mother and wife in a blended family and understand how stressful roles can be in our lives. I understand how stereotypes and societal norms can place burdens on on our everyday lives. I want all of my clients to be comfortable with who they are regardless of which nationality, race, sexuality, or religious community they belong to.
