About My Clients
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by life’s challenges? Perhaps you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, or a sense of emptiness that’s hard to explain. Maybe you’re carrying past wounds or navigating a transition that feels impossible to handle alone. Whatever your pain, you don’t have to face it by yourself. Your story matters, and I’m here to listen, understand, and support you every step of the way.
My Background and Approach
I initially started my schooling in addiction studies after experiencing personal challenges in my family as the result of substance abuse. I then went on to study criminal justice and criminology because I wanted to work with people who were incarcerated as the result of their substance abuse issues. I shifted my focusing on acute mental health after working in treatment programs and decided to pursue two degrees in clinical psychology to have more opportunity to support more people. Having worked in substance abuse and mental health treatment for over ten years, I am constantly in awe of how people can grow and transform themselves and I am grateful I chose to broaden my reach of support for clients. I have a client-centered approach that focuses on the client's treatment goals and pace of therapy to be most effective in achieving the desired change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Healing from mental health challenges is possible. Together, we can work to understand your struggles, build coping tools, and create lasting change so you can live with greater clarity, strength and hope. I believe that we all have the capability to change and become better versions of ourselves if we choose to and have the proper support.
