Has it been hard to find your place in the LGBTQIA+ community because of racism, transphobia, biphobia, aro/acephobia, sizeism, ableism, classism, and other -isms? Have you ever been isolated from community by an abusive partner or group of people? I will use nonjudgment and compassion to listen and help guide you in the directions that you want to heal and grow.

You may love your partner for being gentle and empathetic - so it’s confusing when they’re suddenly insensitive or uncaring at times. It’s hard to be angry when we clearly see another person is reacting from a triggered place, and deserves our compassion and understanding. Yet *reasons* are not *justifications* for a pattern of unkind behavior. You may worry that your frustration or anger continues to hurt them too, even if you feel unheard about why. Therapy can help to create new patterns.

Neurodivergent adults live with constant anxiety about not being enough or “living up to our potential.” Even if you chose to reject the standards of dominant culture long ago… being disabled, oppressed, or living with scarcity DOES mean that we work harder to feel good about ourselves and to sustain ourselves without chronic burnout. If social anxiety, panic attacks, nightmares, avoidance, or being numb get in the way of living a good life, you’re right that it’s not supposed to be this way.
