About My Clients
My practice specializes in helping adults work through their struggles and challenges with anxiety, depression, adjustment challenges due to life stage changes (i.e., separation/divorce, grief, marriage, birth of child, empty nesting, job loss, etc.), social skills challenges, coping skills challenges, postpartum depression, parenting struggles, and social/life skills. I work with each client (via telehealth) to create a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental space to build trust.
My Background and Approach
Common modalities I often use in my practice include: person centered/rogerian therapy, solution focused therapy, positive psychology, strength based therapy, narrative, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral... to name a few. Before opening my own private practice, Just Wright Therapy in mid 2021, I was working with a private practice group in my local area, serving clients of all ages, sexualities, gender identities, and race/ethnic backgrounds. Prior to working in private practice, I worked for a nonprofit organization working with at risk and high risk group home teens. I have been serving clients for over 4 years and have had a total of over 6 years experience in the field of mental health/social services, previously working in case management and social work for foster youth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I genuinely believe that the healing process begins with the therapeutic relationship. As your therapist, I am your biggest advocate and I strive to be create a safe and non-judgemental space. I also work toward providing a authentic, straight forward, and genuinely human experience in sessions. I'd love the opportunity to meet with you and help you in your journey toward healing.
