About My Clients

I work with clients across their lifespan who may have anxiety, depression, or difficulty adjusting to a new life experience. I work with children and teens to help address self-esteem, social skills, emotional regulation, conflict resolution, or sensory processing challenges. The adults I work with might be experiencing a life-altering event, navigating their purpose in life, managing relationships, stress, dealing with a chronic illness, or struggling with parenthood.

My Background and Approach

I have a wide range of experience working with children, teens, young adults, and older adults. I use a compassionate, strength-based approach and strive for the best outcome possible for my clients to live a meaningful life. I approach each session with empathy and authenticity - building rapport to create a supportive therapeutic experience. I will help you find your inner strength and support you as you work through challenges. My goal as a therapist is to help you reclaim your life so you can enjoy the rewarding journey of personal growth, while working through trauma. Therapy can truly be healing and life-changing. We can all overcome our past struggles and see a future with hope and serenity.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

When navigating challenges, whether it’s a concrete life event, or the profound deep void one may feel without understanding why, the therapeutic process can truly be enlightening and healing. We are all blessed with gifts and strengths. As a therapist, I focus on these attributes to guide the therapeutic process. To complement my clinical work, I bring years of advocacy efforts to address overall wellness and social justice issues. This includes being a member of the NJAAP Task Force on Adolescent Sleep and a co-founder and steering committee member of social justice groups to strengthen diversity, equity and inclusion. I’m also an active member of our local chapter of The League of Women Voters, which strives to increase understanding, education, and advocacy of major public policy issues. I strongly believe that engaging in community efforts not only makes a difference in the lives of others, but provides a great sense of purpose and fulfillment.
