About My Clients

My work supports people in caring professions, neurodiverse humans and LGBTQIA+ and identity-exploring folx in times of transition. If you are someone who thinks about their experiences in a systemic, non-linear way, and wants to find a space that supports your process. Remember that the best therapist for you is one with whom you feel safe and understood.

My Background and Approach

I hold my limited license for marriage and family therapy in the state of Michigan. My other credentials include: Prepare/Enrich Coordinator (think pre-marital therapy without the religious aspect), I have also taken Gottman courses, Levels I & II. Much of my previous experience as a therapist was with an organization that was adamantly affirming and known in the community for its work with LGBTQIA+ youth. The ability to work either with a person or with a family or relationship through a systemic perspective can have a profound effect on how a person views themselves in the context of their life and connections, especially when exploring identity.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

With my clients, I acknowledge that all experiences are different and I strive to create a space where your stories can be safely told. In therapy, you should feel affirmed in exploring your past and present. Finding people to be on your team is important. Let me know if you think I might be someone you'd like to talk to!

I offer online counseling in the following states:
