About My Clients
My clients are remarkable individuals that usually struggle with anxiety, depression, cultural / societal pressures, identifying emotions, and seeking to find their own individual peace & purpose. Therapy can increase the support in my clients life and can be a space that is all their own. Where they can explore their own thoughts and frustrations freely. I work from a nonconformist cultural informed lens, and kink, polyamory, LGBTQ+ inclusive.
My Background and Approach
You are unique. Our sessions will reflect that. I believe that what you bring into the room will naturally lead us into a non-bias environment that promotes healing. I do this by showing up as my authentic self, acknowledging that we are all imperfect human beings, and lead with a genuine curiosity of your inner world. A fresh unbiased perspective can help provide you with the tools to untangle the negative self talk, emotions and reactions. In our work together, we will not only spend time on the areas that you wish to heal but also make a point to celebrate your innate talents, strengths and accomplishments. I am inspired by many different therapeutic modalities that all embrace the complexities of what makes us tick. I work from a holistic point of view highlighting LGBTQ+ Affirmative therapy, Jungian theories, mindfulness, and somatic techniques. I also love incorporating your passions into your healing. Asking for help is not easy, but you are here now.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I never thought I would ever go to therapy. I had always felt that not even one of my problems were ever big or messy enough to burden anyone else with. I grew up in a family where mental health didn’t exist. It wasn’t even on the map of survival. Yet, I found myself sitting across from a stranger ready to word vomit every thought and feeling I had ever had. And let me tell you, it felt great. We are all human. We all deserve to be heard and seen. Your emotions, thoughts, dreams are not a burden. This is your space. Your time. Come as you are.
