Feminist Therapy is a holistic, integrative approach to therapy that takes into consideration systemic biases, patriarchal structures, and oppression of women, female-identifying people and people of color in order to help you understand how these factors affect your mental health.
Integrative medicine for mental health is a whole-person, root-cause approach to therapy. I work within the scope of my competency to provide you with an understanding of how your body and mind respond to stressors. I incorporate education about hormones, the gut microbiome, neurotransmitters, nutrition, supplementation, nervous system regulation, meditation, exercise and other complementary and alternative treatments into each therapy session.
