About My Clients
Talia primarily works with young adults experiencing and/or people experiencing eating disorders, as well as survivors of sexual assault/ rape. As a proud Argentinian, Talia loves giving back to her community by serving the Latinx community too.
My Background and Approach
Talia believes that we are all the unique byproducts of our own backgrounds and lived experiences. As such, she believes therapy must be tailored to fit each distinct individual. She draws from styles that include Person-Centered, Feminist, multicultural, Psychodynamic, CBT, and loves to include the occasional sprinkle of humor. Talia completed her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at the University of Florida and her graduate degree in Bilingual Latinx Counseling at Teachers College, Columbia University.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In its original iteration, therapy wasn't perfectly suited to help everyone. That being said, everyone deserves a space to heal. Because of this, Talia believes in tailoring therapy to fit the needs of diverse and underserved communities. She is passionate about giving back to her community and supporting other minority groups as well.
