Many of my clients come in with symptoms of depression. I meet clients where they are, offering a supportive environment and safe space to share experience. Leaning on CBT techniques, I bring awareness to destructive thinking and behavioral aspects that don't serve the client. Encouraging and challenging clients to "notice" what's happening. Providing psychoeducation to help clients understand their symptoms and their manifestations help promote autonomy and capacity for change.

I have decades of experience working with the trans community. My professional experience as well as my personal history as a trans man influence my ability to meet people where they are. Recognizing and validating each client's individual experience is prioritized. I offer a safe space to explore a diverse range of topics, dig into "dysphoria" and what it might mean for you, facilitate connection to others in community as well as other local available resources.

It is estimated that some 19% of adults in the US have been diagnosed with anxiety. You're not alone! I use an eclectic array of tools and techniques to help clients recognize and manage anxious thoughts and behaviors. Validating the existence of "worry", but not being controlled by it. Some examples: CBT to challenge cognitive distortions, desensitization methods to decrease feelings of being overwhelmed and introduce client to other hands-on skill building to use between sessions.
