About My Clients
Are you a teen experiencing overwhelming emotions, a young adult feeling stuck, or a parent watching your child struggle with anxiety or depression? Navigating these challenges isn't easy and I am here to support you through these difficult moments. I am a clinical psychologist treating anxiety and mood disorders across the lifespan. My mission is to provide evidence-based care to fit each client's unique needs, individuality, culture, and strengths.
My Background and Approach
My style is warm and collaborative, and I work to meet clients where they are with unconditional positive regard. I work from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) informed lens. Our initial sessions will focus on how we can work together to move towards your goals. During treatment, we will explore how certain thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact and influence each other. We will work to break patterns that are no longer working and explore new approaches that align with your vision of growth.
My Values as a Therapist
My personal experience as an adopted Asian American and Jewish clinician informs my approach when working with clients. Just as my own cultural identity contains many visible and invisible layers that are essential to understanding me as an individual, I strive to treat each client with genuine curiosity, humility, and respect as I seek to understand their lived experience. As a therapist, I aim to show my clients that they do not carry their burdens alone. My clinical work is driven by a deep respect and appreciation for each client's unique stories, culture, goals, and strengths.
