Life looks “good” from the outside, but it feels anything but. You feel controlled by your anxiety, live in a constant state of disconnection, and desire a more authentic and intentional life. Change is possible—sometimes we just need the right tools and support to get there. You don’t have to settle for a life that doesn’t feel authentic or fulfilling to you. I help adults discover how to move forward in a way that supports their well-being and is aligned with personal values.
My Background and Approach
My approach in therapy is collaborative, and I work to maintain a balance of being empathetic and challenging. I love working with women in their 20’s and 30’s who are motivated to grow and have a desire to understand themselves on a deeper level. I also have a special place in my heart for women with unresolved attachment trauma/relationship wounds from the past. While I pull from the gold-standard, evidence-based modalities, my approach is down to earth and relational so that you can feel comfortable showing up as your authentic self. In therapy, I’ll help you gain insight into your patterns so that we can move forward with intention. We’ll gain clarity around your values and work towards a more fulfilling life - whatever that looks like to you. My commitment is to not judge you, and to provide a space where you can show up as your authentic self.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My priority is to create a genuine, safe relationship so that you can show up as your authentic self and never feel judged. As a humanistic/existential therapist, I’m not going to pathologize your problems or jump to a diagnosis—I want to understand the root cause behind your suffering and help you work towards meaningful change. Being human means that life will inevitably present us with challenges; this does not mean there is something wrong with you or that you need to “fix” yourself. I believe we all have our own set of gifts and innate strengths, and therapy is a space that promotes growth in discovering those strengths that lie within.
