About My Clients
I am here to listen, to allow you to feel seen, and to guide you as you learn to trust yourself. Together, we can do the work to help you break free from what is holding you back, gain inner peace, and feel empowered.
How I Can Help You
I work from a trauma-informed lens and utilize Internal Family Systems in my approach, always working to understand my client from their perspective and worldview. I can give you tools to help you to break free from anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction using Acceptance Commitment Therapy, cognitive behavioral work, and mindfulness.
Why I Became a Therapist
I became a therapist because of the gift that my own therapy journey gave me- a chance to live life as my Self. My therapists guided me out of my darkest times and I hope to provide that same experience of hope and trust. My background includes specializing in Natural Horsemanship. An approach that focuses on mindfulness, body language, and emotional regulation to develop a relationship with the horse, based on mutual trust and respect. I worked with Veterans and First Responders, individuals struggling with eating disorders, addiction, mood disorders, and trauma. I also worked and continue to advocate for a homeless shelter in my community. I work to be an ally of the Native American community of Northern Arizona and challenge the narrative around social justice and mental health.
