About My Clients

I specialize in working with PTSD/trauma, depression, body image concerns, sexuality, and identity. I work with individuals and relationships through creating security and safety, where there's freedom to explore all of yourself while feeling seen and heard. We will work together on recognizing your innate gifts and identifying what has caused breaches in your ability to live most fully in the world. I do not bill insurance, but can provide you with a superbill for Out-of-Network reimbursement.

My Background and Approach

I use an integrative, embodiment-based approach that is rooted in relational connection and exploring personal narratives that shape how we relate to ourselves and others. My hope is to cultivate growth and healing through reconnecting to the parts of ourselves that have been lost or silenced, deepening our sense of secure attachment, and moving towards emotions and sensations that can guide us to our authentic selves. Some research-backed modalities that often show up in my work include Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I highly value providing services that are social justice-oriented, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA+ affirming. My practice aligns with Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size (HAES) principles for body image and disorder

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Some of the things I value most both personally and therapeutically involve collaboration, equity, embodiment, kindness, and transparency. I like to practice these things through curiosity in the stories we tell ourselves, the stories others have told for us, our relationship with our dear bodies, and our relatedness to the people and world around us. More than anything, I believe that allowing people to fully connect with others, through both laughter and heartache, is how we experience the core of our selfhood. Together, let’s hold space for connection and healing, growth and becoming, in all of the wonderful ways that can look like for you. I would be honored to hold space for your growth and healing, and I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you.
