About My Clients

Do you feel stuck on a roller coaster of hope and disappointment while life passes you by? You might finally feel hopeful that you are making progress only to find yourself strapped back into the roller coaster getting ready for another drop. You desperately want to feel free so you can control and enjoy their life. You feel too busy to go to therapy but also tired of the same cycle over and over. Therapy can help!

My Approach to Helping

When I meet with someone, we make a plan to help things feel manageable. Then, I help you learn to shift your thoughts and take the power away from your fears. Finally, you have the energy to focus on enjoying your life and connecting to what's important. I specialize in infertility, pregnancy loss, third-party reproduction, postpartum depression and anxiety, chronic illness, stress in medical professionals, ADHD and anxiety. I have worked in a variety of medical clinics and hospitals, including fertility, transplant, oncology, primary care clinics as well as on medical inpatient hospital floors. Not only do I understand the intense stress of being a medical patient or caregiver to a loved one, but I can help you better communicate with your medical team so you are working together. I have worked with different types of medical professionals and understand the unique stressors to working in healthcare, from direct patient care to leadership challenges.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that we all try our best to care for ourselves and heal although sometimes everyone can get stuck and need help. I strongly believe that taking an intersectional view of identities is important and identify with anti-racism and feminist values and beliefs. I consider culture (individual beliefs, family culture, ethnicity and regional/national culture) when working with clients. I strongly believe that a collaborate, trusting, warm relationship is important in therapy and want to hear from clients when they would like a different approach or change in the therapy process. I speak Spanish, have lived in Mexico, Spain and Argentina and have often volunteered with a variety of immigrant/refugee communities. On a personal note, I love animals and travel.
