About My Clients
I work exclusively with Highly Sensitive People, helping them prevent, manage, and recover from overwhelm, and build resilience in insensitive times. Clients seek holistic therapy for anxiety, depression, grief, stress, trauma, relationships, vocation, spirituality, and self-esteem. They also desire mind + body + spirit approaches to therapy. Some clients attend in-person sessions, while others attend via telehealth.
My Background and Approach
Let's talk energy: How's your highly sensitive nervous system right now? 0-3 = Underaroused; 4-6 = Optimally aroused; 7-10 = Overaroused. How did you know what number to pick (what are your somatic, emotional, and cognitive cues)? What self-care tools can you implement to up-/down-regulate your nervous system into optimal arousal? What does optimal arousal even feel like?! I have a master's degree in somatic counseling from Naropa University, and I am a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist (RSMT) through the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association (ISMETA). I also have over 2 years and 300 hours of supervised training in trauma-informed energy healing ––more than many reiki masters these days. I offer a blend of somatic therapy and energy psychology, tailored to your unique sensitivities and therapeutic goals. This highly sensitive approach will help you feel safe, known, beloved, and empowered to achieve deep and lasting results.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
9 things I believe about the healing process: 1) The Healer's Journey cultivates both empowerment and humility. 2) Pain is an unfortunate part of life, but it can also lead to deep healing. 3) Physical, emotional, mental, relational, and spiritual healing are intertwined. 4) We must engage the body to heal childhood wounds, relational wounds, and other traumas. 5) All "negative" emotions have wisdom, and you can fully explore them while feeling safe, beloved, and empowered. 6) Like spirituality, energy medicine is real– capable of real harm and real healing. 7) Miracles aren't "made-to-order," but they are absolutely possible. 8) Once you've met your therapeutic goals, my services are no longer needed. 9) Your ongoing commitment to love your "inner child" will make this world a better place.
