About My Clients
My clients are vibrant, interesting, and intelligent people who sometimes face challenges with overthinking, self-esteem, emotional regulation, maintaining relationships, and self-compassion. People often reach out to me when they’re struggling to navigate a life transition, work or school-related stress, establishing boundaries and/or balance, or are seeking support in shifting patterns that are no longer serving them.
My Background and Approach
My approach draws from various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness. This allows me to tailor our sessions to your unique needs and preferences. My goal is to create a secure therapeutic relationship where you can freely explore all parts of yourself. I have nearly 10 years of experience in human resources, where I supported employees at global organizations and developed expertise in navigating work spaces, burnout, stress management, relationship-building, and communication skills. I received my clinical training at Fordham University and Jewish Family and Children’s Services, building on these skills and expanding my clinical expertise.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m no different from the clients I see. I've been through both wonderful and difficult experiences that have shaped who I am and how I help. Therapy offered me a safe space to actually say what I was experiencing out loud for the first time, work through what I was feeling, and provided me with tools to cope that have greatly improved my life. I've carried that into my work and I am committed to guiding clients to where things feel manageable and joyful again.
