You feel misunderstood or dismissed by dominant culture. People make incorrect assumptions about you all the time. You deserve so much better than that. Please don't give up hope. You don't have to go through this alone. The people I meet with are often their own unique blend of being Neurodivergent, Autistic, Trans, Gender expansive, Queer, Black, Native, or persons of culture, who have experienced trauma and anxiety due to being marginalized, abused, or assaulted.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon and Missouri with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have received clinical training in Liberation Psychology, EMDR (completed EMDRIA level 2) therapy. I have experience providing trauma-informed therapy, integrating Relational-Cultural Therapy and Liberation Psychology for people who are Gender Expansive, Trans, Nonbinary, Two-Spirit, Queer, LGBTQIA+, Neurodivergent, Autistic, ADHD individuals seeking mental health counseling therapy for high Anxiety, Autistic Burnout, Trauma, Religious trauma, PTSD, Gender Affirming Care, and liberation from oppressive systems. My approach acknowledges that our liberation is deeply interconnected with that of all oppressed people. I am committed to ongoing learning and advocacy, known for a collaborative approach that values lived experience, prioritizes dismantling of systemic oppression, and collective healing. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I practice queer and trans+ affirming, anti-racist, neurodivergent and disability affirming, pro-liberation social justice efforts from a place of cultural humility. It’s not only my goal but my responsibility to use my privileged sociological position to challenge, divest from, and decolonize systems of oppression.
