Our emotions are often deeply rooted in our childhood. Our past has an impact on the development of our personality and in shaping our relationships. It is not the most difficult experiences that bring suffering but our tendency to disregard our feelings that arise from such experiences.
Therapy is supportive journey where we work together to better understand ourselves, our experiences, and repeating patterns. At the very heart of our work, we explore the experiences that have brought us to where we are while building bridges between our past and present to break cycles that are often painful to us. In this journey, we often talk about our experiences and explore unconscious motivations behind our reactions. By exploring, we allow ourselves the space for developing insight from within and expand the range of our understanding of our very beings.
Making new meanings and narratives about who we are and who we have been helps us feel heard and felt for, and makes us free.
