About My Clients
I provide individual and couples therapy to those who are looking for change and want to feel better about themselves, their lives and relationships. With warmth and compassion, I will walk side by side with you as we figure out your feelings, fears and blocks. Through learning new strategies and ways of looking at things, it is possible to heal, grow and experience deeper connections with others.
My Background and Approach
My Couples work is informed by my training in The Developmental Model which integrates Attachment Theory, Differentiation and Neuroscience. I will help you to discover how to approach difficult challenges and topics and respond to each other in new ways that foster deeper understanding and connection.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a licensed therapist with a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology. But that is only one aspect of what I bring to my work. I also bring my life experience as the mother of three grown children, as the daughter of aging parents, as an artist who believes that creative expression opens our minds and hearts, and as a citizen of the world, who spent decades living in another culture outside the United States. All my life experience only enhances what I do in my work as a therapist, helping me better understand individual challenges, big life decisions and daunting change.
