Olivia Beers (she/her)

I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Neuropsychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. During my journey, I had training at the University of Chicago Medicine Department of Psychiatry and completed my clinical psychology doctoral internship at Veteran Affairs in Nebraska-Western Iowa. Aside from the knowledge of neurological processes, I delved into the complexities of mental health, gaining experience in primary care mental health integration and exploring the neurobiological aspects of post-traumatic stress disorders. Currently, I am expanding my skills through a post-graduate program in clinical psychopharmacology, where I'm also working towards gaining prescriptive privileges. It's a fulfilling journey, blending expertise with compassion as I strive to make a difference in the lives of those I serve.

I deeply believe in the innate capacity of individuals to heal and overcome the challenges they face. I hold the belief that given the right conditions, individuals can tap into their inner resources to navigate through difficult times and emerge stronger. I have a fascination for the intricate workings of the human mind. For me, testing is not merely an assessment tool but the beginning of a journey to unravel the mysteries of each individual's unique experience. I am passionate about integrating neuropsychology into a collaborative care model where recommendations extend beyond the confines of traditional therapy. I envision an integrated care team where individuals receive personalized recommendations tailored to their specific needs and circumstances. This approach ensures that each person receives the comprehensive support necessary for their journey towards healing and well-being.
