About My Clients
I believe all people have the capacity to grow and heal from trauma, sexual assault, and childhood abuse. It can be overwhelming when painful memories, emotions and sensations disrupt our ability to participate in our professional and personal lives. I offer a warm, compassionate and authentic space where we'll connect with your strengths and resources so that you can create meaningful long term change.
My Background and Approach
I am a body-centered psychotherapist who weaves her training in dance, yoga, mindfulness and somatics with psychodynamic and attachment theory, internal family systems, and trauma-focused therapy into her work with her clients. I specialize in working with adult survivors of childhood trauma and abuse, anxiety, life transitions, identity exploration, interpersonal or relational challenges, and grief and bereavement.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My approach is client-centered, compassionate, and non-judgmental. I work with my clients to create a safe and supportive space for healing, connection and growth. I am committed to continually developing an anti-oppressive social work practice. I believe intersecting systems of oppression impact us in our everyday lives and in therapeutic spaces. Together we’ll explore how these shape your experiences in the world and impact our work together. My practice is an inclusive space for people of all body sizes, gender identities, races, ethnicities, religious beliefs and sexual orientations.
