My clients come to me for help with identity discovery, sexual issues, shame, social issues, relationships, and more. I am extensively trained in Sex Therapy, LGBTQ+ Therapy, and The Gottman Method. I love helping people reject shame and pursue authenticity in their sexual, relational, inner, and social lives.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is based upon the framework of Existential Humanistic therapy, focusing on the importance of living as one’s authentic self. I use techniques from various theoretical modalities to meet every client with their specific needs and personalities, often drawing upon Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory, The Gottman Method, and more. I work with clients as a partnership with the purpose of achieving their goals, whatever they may be. You know yourself better than anyone else, my job is to help you get out of your own way and live the life you deeply want. Most of my clients come to me with issues related to sexuality, identity, and relationships. Our culture has placed so much shame and taboo on the topic of sex, yet it is also something that pervades most of our music, movies, and daily lives. Sex isn't dirty or bad, it is supposed to be fun! Let's bring the fun back to your sex life.
