About My Clients

Do you sometimes feel ruled by your past? Like there’s a story you've been telling yourself that doesn’t quite fit anymore, but is tough to deprogram. Perhaps you've begun exploring your own identity/ies in various ways, differentiating from your family’s expectations, and asking yourself the big question “Who am I?” and could really use a guide and witness to help make space for your evolution. You’ve read, listened, and followed but nothing has changed. You don't have to work so hard alone.

My Background and Approach

My style is based on a relational, attachment-focused, trauma-informed approach. Whether you need to ugly cry, scream at the top of your lungs, vent for 10 minutes straight, or simply sit in silence - I am here for all of it. I am not afraid to sit with you in your feelings, witness your pain, and create space for your healing process. While I’m trained in the therapy process, you are the expert of your own experience. Our work together will fit who you are and how you see the world. I’m looking forward to learning from you. Let’s be real; sometimes therapy sucks. Unpacking the past and healing can be painful and shitty at times. I promise that you’ll never have to go through it alone. No more suffering in silence. There is no better space than therapy to gently investigate and examine patterns and stories held in the mind + body that have been holding you back. Together, we can begin to rebuild the relationship between the two in order to move towards a more present and authentic self

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

To sum it all up, as a queer therapist, I am ridiculously passionate about providing a safe, nonjudgmental, affirming space where ALL folks can feel safe and grow. When I’m not in my full-blown therapist mode, I’m most likely knitting; loving on my dog, Grizzly; singing made up songs about my cats, to my cats, about their lives; online window shopping (which basically means spending more time than I am comfortable admitting mindlessly scrolling the web and putting things in my cart that I’ll never buy); daydreaming about what I’m going to eat for dinner or what my next tattoo will be; drinking natural wine; or in a full blown groutfit watching a movie that’s most likely from the 80s, 90s, or early 00s. I’m an Aries, my favorite color is green, and I love listening to podcasts while I’m driving (always looking for recs)!

I offer online counseling in the following states:
