About My Clients
My areas of specialty are working with patients on relationship issues, anxiety, and eating disorders. I have experience working with a wide range of people from different stages of life, from young adults transitioning from college to work, individuals navigating changing relationships and identities, people in relationships who find themselves continually having issues, adults struggling with complex family dynamics, and couples in conflict.
My Background and Approach
Therapy is a space where you can put all your thoughts, experiences, and feelings into words without judgment. As a therapist, my role is to help people gain the clarity that enables them to make changes and move forward when feeling stuck. Together, we delve deep to help you understand and remove what stands between you and a more authentic, fulfilling life. I have a client-centered approach that integrates my training and tailors my approach to best meet your needs. My additional training includes Couples and Family Therapy, Modern Psychoanalysis, Group Therapy, and Complicated Grief work. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. You take the first step in creating the change you want by reaching out.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I view therapy as a tool for helping people gain clarity, make changes, and learn how to move forward when feeling stuck. Often, people are burdened by narratives they didn’t write, or storylines that no longer serve them. Curiosity is the best tool in untangling those old storylines and changing the harmful beliefs people hold about themselves. I work with patients to do this by learning how their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions impact their daily lives. I believe people can make different choices when they understand themselves more fully.
