My Background and Approach
I have focused on honing my skills around utilizing the body in somatic work to support deeper levels of understanding and healing of pain and trauma. I am direct and don't sugar coat how challenging a healing journey can be, but I am here to use as a resource and uplift you! I utilize skills within narrative therapy to help you take ownership of your story and re-write your life. I believe a lot of struggles are rooted in relational and attachment issues that I have the skills to address. I am currently in training for NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model) that helps to address complex trauma in the lifespan and meet clients where they are in their present moment experience. I will likely utilize mindfulness techniques in session to support our work!
