About My Clients
Whether you are doing the work of improving, separating, or are now separated, couples counseling is a path to mutual understanding. For couples who would like to stay together, it’s worth reflecting on what brought you together in the first place. Things like how you met, what clicked, and why you stayed can inform what makes you hang in there now. Wherever you are at in your dynamic, we’ll go into what you would like to see happen here.
My Background and Approach
Focusing on goals helps highlight not only your vision for the relationship but also challenges for that vision. By recognizing challenges, we open ourselves up to our limitations. That gets tough sometimes! But conflict…conflict can be a beautiful thing. Or at least an opportunity to learn, and to grow. We’ll explore underlying issues, come up with solutions, and cultivate listening skills in what is at its heart a creative process. Collaboration can be messy, but it allows what needs to come out to come out.
