One of the first things we do is clarify your goals for therapy to ensure that you see a tangible return on your investment. COLLABORATIVE = I am not the therapist who's going to sit silently nodding for 45 minutes and then take your money at end of session. I’ll provide feedback, observations, highlight patterns, and pose thoughtful questions that help you gain insight to make the changes you’re looking for. CONVERSATIONAL = I don’t keep a notepad on my lap or a clipboard with a checklist of questions. That wouldn’t be enjoyable for me, and I imagine it wouldn’t be particularly fun for you, either! I want our sessions to feel like an organic conversation - not a doctor's appointment.
